[From Lauris Shepherd, one of our Elders]
“One of the most wonderful things about the call to prayer is that every single one of us can experience divine power before the throne of Grace. Whether we are young or old, rich or poor, male or female, no matter where we work, no matter where we live, we are powerful people and ‘heaven tall’ when we are down on our knees before the throne of Grace.”
– Beth Moore
Jesus said it this way, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. 13 “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:12-14
To grow in faith and ‘ask in My name’, we must be ‘abiding in Him and His word abiding in us.’
Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
John 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Are you abiding in Christ today? Is His Word abiding in you? Then ask whatever you wish according to His Word abiding in you.
